Indication
Cleansing skin conditions that were originally bacterial or likely to become infected.
Note: Antiseptic agents are not sterilizing. They temporarily reduce the number of microorganisms.
Dosage DERMACIDE Foaming solution for local application 250 ml bottle
DERMAL. DO NOT INJECT. DO NOT SWALLOW.
This product is used as a liquid soap diluted 1/3, followed by an abundant rinsing.
Do not store the diluted solution.
Against indications
· Hypersensitivity to the active substances, in particular to oxyquinol, or to any of the excipients.
· This preparation should not be used:
o for antisepsis before sampling (puncture and injection).
o for any invasive procedure requiring surgical type antisepsis (PL, central venous route, etc.).
o for the disinfection of medical and surgical equipment.
o on the mucous membranes, especially in gynecology.
Dermacid side effects
The acid environment is favorable for the development of Candida albicans .
Rare contact eczema.
Possibility of irritative effect in case of repeated use.
