Antisepsis of superficial wounds and small extent.

Note : antiseptic agents are not sterilizing: they temporarily reduce the number of microorganisms.

Dosage DIASEPTYL 0.5% Solution for dermal application 75 ml spray bottle


2 skin applications per day

Duration of treatment: 7 to 10 days.

Administration mode

The solution is ready for use.

Solution for cutaneous application in bottles of 125 ml, 250 ml or 500 ml:

It is to be applied directly to wounds.

Solution for cutaneous application in 75ml or 125ml spray bottle:

Spray the solution directly onto the wounds.

Against indications

· Hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine or any of the ingredients.

· Do not apply to eyes, ears or mucous membranes.

· This product should not enter the ear canal, particularly in the case of tympanic perforation, nor should it come into contact with nerve tissue or meninges.

· This specialty can not be used for disinfection of micro-surgical equipment or antisepsis of healthy skin before surgery.

Diaseptyl side effects

Risk of local allergy, usually manifested by contact eczema.

Risk of general allergy that can (rarely) reach anaphylactic shock, especially when used on:

· The damaged skin,

· The mucous membranes,
ulcerations of the lower limbs, with possibility of aggravation of a lesion on infected during prolonged use.
